Tesla Model 3 : When Tesla unveiled its Model 3 car after a long wait of 10 years, the CEO was ecstatic and he said that he is hopeful that this electric car will reach the masses. He was quite right as nearly 373,000 people have already pre-booked this by paying a deposit of $1000.
The car is designed for five people to travel comfortably and the vehicle is available in both the all-wheel drive and rear wheel drive versions. The model was unveiled in Hawthorne, California at the company’s design studio early this year.

It is also a very silent car so that you can sleep peacefully the whole night through by switching on the AC if the battery allows it.

A Safe Car :
With the starting price of $35000, it is one of the safest cars in the world, as per its CEO, Musk. Not only is this the safest car, it also gives a range of 215 miles, which is incredible given the economical price tag of $35K.
Pricing and Release :
It is expected that full-scale production will start in the year 2017 in the US, but in the UK the cars will probably arrive in early 2018. Though the starting price is $35K, with add-on features, the price will come to approximately $42K.
The only thing that the Model 3 customers would not like is that for them the company’s supercharger network will be a paid option. There will be no free access, though the company claims that even with paid option Model 3 will turn to be cheaper than those cars that are conventionally-powered. Whether this paid option will be one-off or a subscription service is still unclear.
With nearly 276,000 people booking the vehicle within two days after the reveal, it is awaited eagerly and the company is quite hopeful that it will be able to deliver at least 200,000 of these cars in 2017 itself. In the year 2018, the company is hopeful of taking the production to 500,000 vehicles annually.
